Narratives
The focus for writing this term is writing Narratives! There has been evidence already that Room Three are fantastic writers, and we can't wait to see the writing we will produce this term!
Key aspects we will be looking into this term:
- Metaphors and similes, Personification, Dialogue, Onomatopoeia, Rhetorical Questions
- Developing characters
- Using descriptive language
- Structuring a narrative effectively
- Showing, rather than telling
- Using the senses
- Using tense accurately
- Using a variety of language
