Measurement Art!

Room Three have been looking at measurement. So far, we have covered perimeter and area. To demonstrate what we have learnt, we designed shapes with different perimeters and areas and placed them onto black paper. We think they look pretty cool!

Little Einsteins dance challenge

Each fortnight, Team 2 which is made up of our senior classes (Rms 1, 2, 3 and 4) meets to celebrate success in our classes.

At our last team meeting each class was challenged to come up with some actions to the Little Einsteins theme song. Today classes presented their actions with Room 1 winning the trophy for effort and participation (with Room 3 coming in a close second).

Our class Jigsaw

To kick start our year, Room Three (the place to be!) has been working on our class jigsaw puzzle. We talked about how we each bring our own individual values and strengths to our class. We decorated our puzzle pieces (which were all different - like us!) with 3 symbols that represent who we are. We also decided on four class values - which are represented in our corner puzzle pieces. We chose "Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, and Honesty".
